He will be aiming to qualify for the British team in all three of these sports for the 2006 season and compete internationally.

He is currently studying Physiotherapy at Plymouth University and completing up to 20 hours of training a week. Andrew is also a qualified swim teacher, RNLI beach lifeguard, sports therapist, kayak coach and a fluent speaker of Japanese.

A member of Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club, He is currently a trained lifeguard and Sports development officer. Transferring knowledge gained to others through coaching he leads swim, board kayak strength and swim training sessions. Enjoying helping others achieve self fulfilment through sport and exercise Andrew has recently seen one of the up and coming juniors within the club achieve a National Gold.

This year saw Andrew fulfil his goal of achieveing British National medals in all three sports of triathlon, quadrathlon and surf life saving in the same season. A feat that has never before been achieved by any other athlete! This included taking the Elite National Quadrathlon title in a course record time of 2:32 mins.
